David White brings over 12 years of experience serving Bay Area based technology, software, social, and e-commerce start-ups and small companies. David specializes in client-facing and technology positions nationwide, while providing a single point of contact to manage your staffing needs. He places professionals at all levels from executives through individual contributors.
David provides search and staffing programs including contingency search, retained search for executive level roles and on-site recruiting. Additionally David offers outplacement and career transition services during reductions in force and downsizing. This program consists of an on-site seminar, one-on-one counseling and his book “Don’t Interview – Audition”.
Human Resources
Jessica Mendenhal, PHR, is a strong human resources generalist focusing on start-up and early stage companies with experience in building early stage companies from the ground up by advising on best practices, setting up policies and procedures, benefits programs, new hire and recruiting processes, safety compliance and all of the starting practices that a new company needs.
Some of Jessica’s recent projects include: creation of employee recruiting and retention programs; employee onboarding programs; accounting system conversions; set up and implementation of new payroll systems; the full range of benefits administration and open enrollments; evaluation and implementation of HRIS and ATS systems. Additionally, she has successfully implemented Success Factors for online performance evaluation management. Jessica has a philosophy of focusing on employee coaching and training to maximize employee career path growth, improve areas of strength and optimize key employee retention.
Human Resources and Operations
Michael Mulligan is an Operations and Human Resources professional with direct experience in growing, improving and managing teams. Michael has over 10 years of experience successfully implementing and leading major projects including: change management initiatives, call center migrations, business continuity planning, reductions in force, mergers and acquisitions and office moves in both start-up and Fortune 100 environments.
Focusing on new and alternative ways to provide support and operational excellence to clients, customers and employees Michael’s specialties include: human resources, call center management, mergers and acquisitions, executive coaching, process improvement, change management, recruiting, vendor management, expense management, company reductions, and employee relations.
Employee Relations
Gale Heuman Borden, Principal of Borden Law Offices, provides the highest quality Employment Law Services to her client companies in the bay area and nationwide. Gale has over 20 years of experience counseling employers on a wide range of employment law issues, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, ADA, FMLA, independent contractors, trade secrets, wrongful discharge and other labor and employment matters.
Gale’s approach is different from most law firms in that she focuses on proactive prevention in addition to cure. She works closely with management to ensure understanding and compliance with employment laws, helping to resolve workplace issues before they develop into costly legal disputes. Consistent with this approach, Gale also conducts executive, manager and employee legal training, placing a strong emphasis on personal conduct to best manage and avoid legal claims. Prior to founding Borden Law Offices, Gale was a partner at Schachter, Kristoff, Orenstein & Berkowitz LLP, a recognized leader in representing employers.
Customer Success
JP Connelly is a dedicated, customer facing operations professional with a focus on customer advocacy, and effectively communicating the voice of the customer. He has extensive call/contact center management experience. In addition to being an effective people manager, JP has extensive experience implementing customer relationship management (CRM) databases to track customer interactions for efficacy, efficiency and to gain insight into meaningful and actionable metrics. In implementing CRMs he is also adept at spotting opportunities for process improvement and streamlining workflow processes. He has successfully developed and implemented Salesforce.com at a variety of companies to manage Customer Service needs from the Customer Service Representative perspective to executive team needs.
JP has worked with a wide and varied customer base in a variety of industries. He has advanced capabilities in the full range of Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
